Well....... I wish I had a better journey today !
Checked this morning on thetube.com, said the Circle had minor delays anti-clockwise due to earlier signal faliure at Tower Hill, same for the District. H&C had severe delays due to signal faliure at Goldhawk Road.
I got to Stratford after 20 minutes of leaving the house, to discover to my horror, that the Jubbly was suspended Neasden - Stanmore because of signalling problems in the Wembley Park area. So, I wait on a train in platform 13 for 10mins, only to be told that I should go to 15 for the now Neasden-bound train. 30 seconds later, then told that it was back to 13, with much effing and blinding from the rest of the train.
So its back to 13, train eventually gets moving to Neasden, only I get out at Waterloo to go into Ian Allen, only to find that the Jubbly now has been suspended because of points faliure, once again around Wembley.
There were still severe delays on the Jubilee
when I left to go to Liverpool Street via Paddington a few hours later on the Circle!
Well, I have great respect for individuals such as Harsig and Citysig, and also the drivers - even greater than before. Ferrying a trainful of pi$$ed off commuters around London has gotta be stressful ;D
Anyway..... I'm home now safe and sound.
