So are any of the 72 MK I TS stocks still in use. I get the impression that they are being scrapped due to the incompatibility with the MK II stock. I think some have been converted to run with them but the MK I seem to be left out in the cold, a little like the 83 TS.
Please feel free to correct me.

The only Mk1's in passenger service are the ones converted to Mk2 spec 3264-3564,3265-3565,3266-3566,3267-3567,3299 is a Mk2 33xx car turned to a 32 with a Mk1 UNDM in the middle. There are other bits and pieces laying around at various depots plus 2 Mk1 motors are going to make the new TRC train.

If you mean in use as in used but not in passenger service there is one MKI with a permanent home in the Aldwych branch for filming purposes etc. Car No.s 3229 - 4229 - 4329 - 3329. There is another MKI being converted into a track recording train at Northfields Depot. Apart from those two trains I don't know how many more MKI's are left.
Its a shame nothing good can be done with them because that curved design that the 67/72/73's have is great.

I get the impression that they are being scrapped due to the incompatibility with the MK II stock. They are being scrapped because they arn't needed anymore!
