I refer DD readers to my user name for this one.
Some history about this subway complex. When I first knew it growing up there in the 1960s, there were no slopes, only two sets of stairs at the end of each subway: and each set of stairs had its own exit number. I recall the local paper running a campaign to get some of the sets of stairs replaced by slopes, as the subway was inaccessible to those with prams or pushchairs, so they had to cross the busy roads (three are dual carriageways) through gaps in the traffic. Sadly there were accidents. The campaign was successful, and in the 1970s at each subway-end one of the sets of stairs was replaced with a slope. Since then, road "improvements" (sorry changes) has resulted in some of the original subway access points being removed.
My usual route uses the right hand slope of yellow subway 4.

Thanks for the history, gantshill.
