Platform works will take place at Caledonian Road between Monday 14th October and Thursday 21st November 2024. During this time:

Eastbound trains will not stop between Monday 14th October and Thursday 31st October 2024.

Westbound trains will not stop between Monday 4th November and Thursday 21st November 2024.

My team attempted to plan these works during engineering hours to minimise disruption however because of the unique mastic overlaid on the top of the nosings on these platforms, a closure was deemed more appropriate and less risky.

Well Jet, I think you and your team did a good job in planning out these works. Better to close one platform at a time rather than close the station completely. Otherwise we would have had a repeat of late 2015/early 2016 where residents are campaigning to keep the station open! I wonder if similar work needs to be done at other stations?
