My team attempted to plan these works during engineering hours to minimise disruption however because of the unique mastic overlaid on the top of the nosings on these platforms, a closure was deemed more appropriate and less risky.

Well Jet, I think you and your team did a good job in planning out these works. Better to close one platform at a time rather than close the station completely. Otherwise we would have had a repeat of late 2015/early 2016 where residents are campaigning to keep the station open! I wonder if similar work needs to be done at other stations?
