I've just received an email an email from the Austrian model tram manufacturer Halling announcing their almost immediate closure "in a few days".
Everything remaining on their website is now at a 30% discount.
No reason is given for the closure in the email, and it's not even mentioned on the website, where the latest news is several new products from earlier in the month - though everything is indeed at 30% off.
So if you want their model of the Manchester tram, any of their large international tram range, or their mechanisms, now may be your last chance.
