Alright, I know I’m nearly two months late on this, but I really need to get this off my chest:
We all know that Queensway closed at 22:00 between the 4th and 8th February. I’m curious to know what was the reason for the early closure?

For four straight nights? I don’t think so. Must have been some planned overnight work! Maybe one of the admin knows!

The closure was planned rather then at short notice which suggests no staff overnight is not the case

Maybe they updated the signs? They've stated 123 stairs for years. Only three out :-)

Thought I put this here. On Saturday 22nd June 2024, Queensway is going to be closed between 07:00 and 15:00. What’s going on here?

Ah I see. They have been doing refurbishment at the station since February! That’s why it’s been closing early on certain occasions.
