I, today, present you with a single part question. Something perhaps isn't quite in the right place, bonus points for spotting that. *Click for larger version*

I note that nobody has yet taken a guess at the location of the inset picture.

MarkT followed quickly by pgb were in first on PM, correctly identifying Canary Wharf (Main exit) No-one has correctly guessed the inset picture as yet. However as I took that picture, that's the clue! Answer: *Click for larger version* Inset: *Click for larger version*

No takers, so I'll tie this loose end up... The inset is Brayford Pool in Lincoln. Although largely unused, it's supposed to be the biggest inland port in The UK.... From the picture, you can see the university to the left, and sort of behind where I took the picture, but to the right would be The Cathedral..... (Although that is quite some distance away!)

A***biscuits! I thought it was Brayford - but have been too busy varnishing steam engines to post much apart from the wee small hours of the morning.
Know the place well from my teenage years - there was an excellent s/h bookshop on Steep Hill and I've rung the bells at the Cathedral a couple of times.

The only thing I know about Lincoln is that the crossing gates cause havoc to road traffic!

The only thing I know about Lincoln is that the crossing gates cause havoc to road traffic! And there is an understatement! Lincoln is sort of split by the hill, with all the tourist stuff generally up the top, as in The Cathedral, Castle, Bailgate etc, while lower Lincoln (although still good for the tourist) tends to be more modern. The Brayford pool is not far from where I live, and the main rail line runs down the left hand side of it as you view the photo.
