As it's Sunday, a single part question will suffice. *Click for larger version* **EDIT** For the life of me, I can't see why the picture won't display, so click the following link: Todays Picture

**EDIT** For the life of me, I can't see why the picture won't display... erm, that would be because I apparently forgot to create the small versions I've rectified this omission and uploaded them now, so everything should work as intended. Sorry.

I looked at this and thought it might be the western end of Northfields depot, which it can't be because the image has been reversed. The platform ramps look disused, leading me to think of the old Osterley station, so I have no idea!

If it's Ealing Common, I'll kick myself, 'cos I ruled that out straight away.

It is most definitely Ealing Common. Despite the reversed image 12As 6' points and the shunter's cabin were instantly recognised. One of my signal maintenance sites, I spent a great deal of time working there, it was one of my favourite sites to test out as it could be done in the old fashioned way. It was also a joy when working at the control room to be able to guide a green lineman to properly test the site following point maintenance.

I remember seeing a couple of brake vans on the track on the right of the picture once. Not ground breaking I know, but its pleasing to see the engineering trains out and about sometimes

Whoops, shoulda looked at the photo and read your post a little closer then I might have known it wasn't Grange Hill

+6 for Ealing Common - the track layout and shunter's hut gives it away immediately.
Quick question - is there an electric outlet in the hut for the heater coil needed to keep the tea warm?
