What on earth was going on this evening? Took me an hour and a half from Finchley Road to Chalfont and Latimer. Tfl status said minor delays. Got to Finchley Road 19.05. No Chesham or Amersham shown so followed advice and took first train to Harrow. Uxbridge all stations took half an hour with frequent unexplained stops. On arrival Harrow good news Chesham fast in 10 mins. Train 465 arrived but though we were fast we were on the slow lines behind a Watford all stations so frequent slowing as we caught up with it between stations. Reasonably quick from Moor Park. Chiltern which should have been right behind us at Ricky was shown as 17 minutes behind on arrival at Chalfont. Never a word of explanation.
