I wonder, has damage to one end of two trains, such as might happen in a depot collision due to not clearing the fouling point, ever resulted in the undamaged ends being joined at the articulation to form a serviceable car?

Do DLR cars have to couple A to B end, or is this not important? Is an effort made to keep trains correct way round in depots by turning 'wrong way round' ones? This was once important on the Central Line I recall.

I'm not aware that DLR units are handed, and I would be very surprised if they don't regularly become turned given the triangle at Westferry-West India Quay-Poplar, the triangle at Beckton depot entrance and Beckton depot itself being a loop.
