It says services are planned to run all night - what will be the frequency for services running during the night?

I remember growing up it was always the case, right up to and including 2019, that on New Years Eve during the daytime, Piccadilly line trains didn’t operate between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.
Both last year and this year however they have operated.
It was explained to me that the reason for the lack of daytime service was to ensure the trains had been examined and were ready for the all-night service. Was there some other reason such as to save Train Operators to run the all-night service, or is the fleet no longer required to be subject to maintenance during the day?

There aren’t any Uxbridge-Rayners Lane services today, except 05.17½ Uxbridge-Acton Town Similarly, there were no services in 2021 except 05.20½ Uxbridge-Acton Town

It hasn’t been advertised this year or last, but searches from previous years show it was always advertised as part closed.
