Apologies if I have opened this in the wrong section of the forum
If/when Piccadilly line trains start serving all stations (including Chiswick Park) on the Ealing Broadway branch (currently part of the District line), would these trains be able to serve these two stations all day without mucking up the Heathrow branch?
Or would an increased District line service to/from Richmond be able to cope with the passenger numbers using these stations.
I have not included Stamford Brook as I am aware Piccadilly line trains would only be able to call westbound only (i.e. not towards central London)
To stop this going into RIPAS territory, would there be any gains in doing this or would it cause more problems on a busy section of the Underground in West London.

There is no plans for the pic line to serve any stations in that section except turnham green all day once the new singalling system has been installed whenever that may be. There is a lot of information in the picadilly line section under line upgrades

The plan is for half current Ealing trains be diverted to Richmond, and the remainder to Wimbledon branch. Picc trains for Ealing may serve the current Chiswick Park platforms by new crossovers between the fast and local lines just west of Turnham Green, although another plan is to put new platforms on the Richmond Branch linked to the current ticket hall there. This all awaits resignalling for 30+tph on the Picc, so stopping and non-stopping trains would need to be separated.
