Going to randomly go with West Ham for some reason... although it probably isn't!

For some reason it reminds me of Ladbroke Grove, but I'm probably totally wrong. Bizarrely, South Woodford is calling out to me too....................

East Putney. Eastbound platform.
Exactly where I used to stand on my way to work at Baker Street.
<edit> I swear I posted that at the same time as you Join the Dots!

Interesting, the Telefunken SAP with an orange upper module must be a dead giveaway.
My thinking was complex as I thought it could be Boston Manor westbound with the flats opposite Bollo House placed in the background but the walkway/staircase behind the fence ruled that out!
It's so long since I've been east of Whitechapel that I wouldn't recognise East Putney now.

Surely East Putney is the Putney in the east of London, just as West Ruislip is the Ruislip to the west of London, and South Harrow is the Harrow to the south of London...

But why is East Finchley in the south of Finchley, Finchley Central to the West and West Finchley is to the north?

Let me be honest, I was having a senior moment as I was thinking of Upney though I can't explain why except that Boston Manor was in my mind while I was typing, it makes no sense to me at all!!! perhaps senility is creeping up on me as I approach my 55th Birthday.
