Since the push and pull from Greenford has now been curtailed at West Ealing, Do I have to change platforms for the Elizabeth line when getting off the push and pull? Or does it depart from the same platform? I might have some heavy bags to lug up and down stairs.

Depends where you're heading. Greenford trains call on the opposite side of a platform to eastbound Elizabeth line trains, so if you're coming from the Greenford direction and changing to head towards London, it's simply a walk across (and slightly along) the platform.
If you're heading west towards Reading however, you will need to go over the footbridge.
Thankfully, part of the Crossrail project involved upgrading the station to allow step-free access to the platform, so said footbridge now has lifts which might help moving those heavy bags a bit easier.
Edit: Damn, beaten to it!

I used West Ealing's lifts the other day, they are modern and spacious so offer minimal impediment to those with mobility issues or luggage.
