Haven't we had this before? Bridge over the river next to where they used to film big brother, between Bromley and West Ham. Unless there's a bridge with a similar seal elsewhere.

I thought it looked familiar too, not totally convinced it is the same, should really be unpacking so I won't channel COLIN right now to check yet.

Looks very much like the Lea Bridge to me.

My initial thoughts go along with the rest - that it's the bridge between Bromley & West Ham.
I would go looking for the previous thread referred to, but I can't remember the month it appeared in, let alone the actual date.

23rd February 2007... the plate's the same, but the background's different... [btw COLIN used "plate" as my search term in the two quiz boards]

I think most got it correct. Its the makers plate on the Bromley river bridge over the Grand Union canal between West Ham & Bromley By Bow as taken by TMBA

This reminds me I was chatting to one of the inspectors who worked on Bridge D141 when it underwent major refurbishment in 1998.
He mentioned the bolt which cost the infraco £100,000 after handback from a weekend engineering possession. One of the steel workers had left a loose bolt on the top boom of the bridge girder several metres above the track. By sheer bad luck after the first few trains had passed through the bolt happened to fall onto the track and lodged itself against the running rail and shorted a track circuit. It took them a when to find the cause of the signal failure. Apparently one of the engineers still has this bolt at his office for safe keeping.
