Agree about the bridge - but with the OHLE in the background I'd say somewhere in the eastern reaches of the District.

I'm a bit slow this morning... I was thinking 'Where does the WCML fit into this quiz?' Thinking it was where the M25 crosses near Kings Langley. Don't think it's even that bridge... ah well

The things posing as OHLE are actually above the carriage sidings. I'd go for Wimbledon too. The link is for trains running to point pleasant!

The image is flipped too I thought Colin, and I thought Wimbledon but I think Wimbledon has more tracks than that. I thought it looks like (on the left not LUL 4th rail tarcks) there are two tracks and some rails stored in 6ft 10ft etc. That is why I thought Richmond

I flipped the image and it must be Wombledon, looking Up/EB, with the two tracks coming in from the right from the Up/Down NR, leading ultimately to Point Pleasant Junction.

leading ultimately to Point Pleasant Junction. I do apologise! Note the carefully-worded part ... strictly speaking to and from what I assume is East Putney Junction then via the single reversible spur to Point Pleasant Junction. In the eatly Sixties I used to travel past the PP Junction and there was a SR green with white lettering enamel sign on the north side saying "POINT PLEASANT JUNCTION". The 3rd rail connection in from the main lines I think is to and from the Down as well as at least one Up line. It is years since I stood at the main Down Fast platform and endeavoured to see where the Down trains from Point Pleasant could cross over to. In this link are photos I used in UndergrounD of steam locos at East Putney adjacent to the disused platforms on what was then the Up and Down connections at Point Pleasant. districtdave.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=History&action=display&thread=1179746624Note the 4-SUB I think it is on an ECS move? The U Class is on the disused and now long-disconnected Up line which went over the Windsor lines to connect into the Up Windsor Slow I think it is. I stand corrected if it's not the correct designation. The 700 Class was one of a very few left at the time I believe, and allocated to Feltham. I lived in Feltham at that time and went to school with kids whose fathers worked in the Sged and Marshalling Yards.
