Somewhere on the vic would be my guess. I'm not very observant, but should a Hovertravel Hovercraft (Solent Express? at Ryde) be behind the grill?

Oxford Circus? And I think there's a possibility it's the Southsea end of the route (Where I'm staying/working over these few weeks), however when i wandered past the hoverport it was dark so can't be sure.

I think we're looking at one of the Northern(City) / Victoria cross-platform interchanges at Euston. Oh, and a hovercraft.

Yep +1 for Euston, I think one of the several entrances to the labyrinthine disused area which was until circa 1961 the original route from the station at street level to the Northern line platforms via the old lifts.
Oh and a hovercraft, but that's all I know about it!

Ok I agree now it is Ryde... there's an amusement park to the right of the hoverport at Southsea and a car park in the picture...

Southsea does not have the sea wall to the right, and the view to the rear is totally different! I think that there's no white line on the apron.
