Please note that tomorrow, the quiz will be slightly more interactive, with ChrisM updating the thread regularly as the Members Meet gets underway. I will put the solution to todays question up in the morning (Sat), and normal service will resume Sunday up until Christmas, when The Christmas Quiz will begin. So, Friday, and a single part question: *NO larger version available*

I think this is Whitechapel, with the hospital behind the photographer.

Wrong type of building entirely for Whitechapel! Too large a frontage for Lambeth North which has Lambeth substation next door.
Yes Holloway Road is spot on. If the image was a little larger it would show the side alley gate on the left with access pathway to the substation behind the station and the emergency exit from the offices area of the station.
Unusual for me to see an image of this site in daylight as I was usually there at night most often round rhe back in the substation.

There are two quizzes tomorrow, an online one for people who cannot make it to the meet. This is a three part question. The other quiz is for those at the meet. This quiz is in seven six parts and the images will be on paper which I will hand round at intervals. edit: due to being incredibly pi$$ed off with the printer and not very much paper there will only be six parts at the meet tomorrow. There will also only be two copies of each part.

Another one for Holloway Road - why is it that when I do know the answer loads of people get there before me?

Another one for Holloway Road - why is it that when I do know the answer loads of people get there before me? I guess the answer to that is because you are not an early enough bird! I am usually up at 0500 or 0600 either because I have got up early or because I have not yet gone to bed. One of the habits I have been unable to break is being up at all hours even though I haven't had to be for more than 3 years. I think I am not alone, plenty of members seem to get at the quiz in the first hour or two.

It all depends also on what time the start up quiz pic appears too...

I'll add to the Holloway affirmations, I think it's one of the few ones I've had the faintest idea about...

I'll add to the Holloway affirmations, I think it's one of the few ones I've had the faintest idea about... The 'Holloway affirmations'? Is that like the stations of the Cross? It does look like Holloway Rd, but I thought the bus stops were a bit further up the road on the rail bridge (unless its an old piccy)...

Its the bus stop which got it for me, the East Coast mainline is to the right.

The 'Holloway affirmations'? Is that like the stations of the Cross? It goes something like this: "I will check before I travel because Holloway Road currently has some weekend closures coming up. I will check before I travel because Holloway Road currently has some weekend closures coming up."
