Apologises for nicking your Subject Title - To92. I was on my way to Waterloo this afternoon and I boarded a WB Jubilee Line Train at West Ham. The driver closed the doors and off we went, half way between West Ham and Canning Town the T/Op comes over the PA (Because the Train was in motion I couldn’t exactly hear what the T/op exactly said) and says something along the lines of 'Good afternoon ladies and gentleman, I do hope you are enjoying your ride on the Jubilee line today, to our left you will see the Lovely Canning Town, the weather is dull and damp today but that hopefully won't it dampen your spirits, here's to a great Weekend' Then on departure from North Greenwich WB as the Train was going over the points the T/op comes over the PA again and says 'For your knowledge this Train will be travelling at Speeds of up to 55mph on this section of track - The fastest on the whole Network!' Something tells me that it was the same T/op who is featured in www.foxtravel.fsbusiness.co.uk/tube/tube1.mp3 - The voice of the T/Op who said the things on my Train and the voice of the T/op in that MP3 file sound identical! ;D

'For your knowledge this Train will be travelling at Speeds of up to 55mph on this section of track - The fastest on the whole Network!' Makes me wonder why they lost an average of 20 minutes in late running this evening. Many of them weren't the fastest operators on the network, with some of them taking much more than their alloted time to turn round. Incidentally, it's been dry and mostly sunny further west ;D
