There aren't many engineers blue brick station retaining walls on LU, but I know that Croxley has one - so I am guessing Croxley (Met).

I know a met station when I see one! Croxley! The Watford platform.

I've not been to Croxley for many a year but I do recall the retaining wall on the westbound platform. I remember coming out on a Sunday overtime shift some 20 years ago to run the PA control cable from the link box at the west end of the westbound to the PA rack in the waiting room, clipped all the way along the top of the retaining wall and then dropped through a hole in the roof.

shoreditch before it was all knocked down I wondered about Shoreditch, but the retaining walls were made from yellow bricks.

I think it is Shoreditch, I have a similar photo to this taken on 9th June 2006, if anyone can remember what happened on that date

It'snot Shoreditch, the lamp design is slighty different.

good guess though i think Haha! Close but no cigar as they say! When I first saw the picture I recognised it but could not place it. However, as soon as David declared it as Croxley I knew he was 100% on the money.

It'snot Shoreditch, the lamp design is slighty different. The retaining wall is also too vertical!
