Were the standard stock wheelsets all spoked or were there some discs used? I'm assuming that the powered axles were spoked, but were the trailing axles on DMs and trailers spoked, discs, or a mixture? Looking through all the books I have, I can see some non-driven axles were definitely spoked, but others look like discs. One photo I've got looks like spokes on one truck but possibly discs on the other! Not inconceivable, I guess... Any help warmly appreciated

I believe the standard stock did have spoked wheels but in some cases teak blocks were forced into the gaps under pressure for sound deadening reasons.
I wouldn’t bother with spoked wheels for the trailers. They are so small I doubt anyone would notice. They are also very hard to get hold of so take what you can.

The 1920 Standard Stock prototypes were delivered with fabric or metal covers on the bogies as a noise reduction measure, but they were soon dispensed with as they made it very difficult to get at anything.

They were a terrible fire hazard too! The photos I’ve seen of them make them look like a complete nightmare!

I've seen teak-centred (Mansell) wheels, but never cast wheels with teak blocking between the spokes. An LT thing, perhaps?
