Arnos Grove. Assuming it's Picc line and the booking on point at bollo is on the ground floor (at least it used to be) It's not Arnos Grove and the booking on point for operations staff at Bollo is indeed on the ground floor. However, I know this place as it was one of the sites I worked at, indeed I was a trainer there for a few weeks 10 years ago even though I was based elsewhere. Long afterwards I passed it at least once a fortnight en route to one of the IMRs from where I did regular routine point and signal maintenance and dealt with failures! It is generally busier at night than in the daytime! Brian

It's not the Metrodebt building at the Acton end of Ealing Common depot on the way to Acton Museum Depot is it?

It's not the Metrodebt building at the Acton end of Ealing Common depot on the way to Acton Museum Depot is it? No it is the Tubelines Track depot by the entrance gate to Acton Depot Museum. It is I think still signed as Piccadilly Line Engineering Track & Signals operating centre but Signals moved into Bollo House when that was built although I taught comms to Picc Line Technical Officers there when I first joined PLE from S&E as it was then. Picc track still operate from there with their track contractors, Cleshar although track has supervisors and staff in Bollo House too. The entrance to Acton West IMR is in the corner of the compound / car park behind the Track depot.

I'm tempted to join the Acton depot museum entrance suggestion.

Indeed the correct answer is Acton Depot - sign by the museum depot entrance [Mackenzieblu]
*For some reason, I can't get the answer picture to display*

Actually it's about time they updated those signs, 081, 0171 and 0181 PSTN numbers all well out of date and auto 46561 was transferred to Bollo House SOMs office circa 1996 !
