You should all be able to see the picture now. The server that hosts the images fell over shortly after 3am and wasn't fixed until about 20 minutes ago. The cause was apparently a power failure.

Yep, its Finchley Central, the picture is taken from the S/B platform, the former signalbox can also be seen.

Don't think the bottom picture is the UK - I'd guess somewhere in Oz - Melbourne as a wild guess

the server is working again now, although it has been up and down at several times today.
Something, likely either a power spike or brownout, caused 3 machines to die. One of which was the gateway machine that sits between the hosting server and the university network (and thence to janet and the outside world). A temporary fix was put in this morning, which lasted until late afternoon when setting up one of the bits needed to make it more permanent didn't work as intended and resulted in ~60 minutes downtime (typically it fell over shortly after the last person left, so someone else had to come in to fix it).
Fingers crossed, it should all be working again now.
