I'm not sure, based on TFL's journey planner, if this is operating in a regular fashion.

If it is, the results from the journey planner are verging on the nonsensical.

This is their suggestion for King's Cross Underground to Battersea Power Station Underground:

If you ask for a route from Hammersmith you get something sensible, but if you ask for a route from Goldhawk Road, it suggests going to Hammersmith, but then suggests getting a bus from Sloane Square to Battersea Park, and then walking for nine minutes to get to the underground station.

Not sure how that would help.

If it can’t even get a straightforward A-B journey correct, how could you expect it to cope any better with an A-B-C one?

which makes a lot of sense (although cut/paste leaves something o be desired.

Google also offers taking the Vic to Vauxhall and catching a bus.

I'm familiar with Leicester Square station at that time of day. It will take you longer than a minute to even exit the Piccadilly line platform, let alone reach the Northern line!

CityMapper gives the same route as it's first choice but gives a (marginally) more realistic interchange time of 2 minutes. The second suggested route is to change at Kennington, third is to take the Vic and change at Warren Street, these taking 19, 31 and 30 minutes respectively. The fourth option is take the SSR and spend 7 minutes walking from Euston Square to Warren Street for 33 minute journey. Fastest at 27 minutes though is to take the Victoria line to Victoria and then a Southern train to Battersea Park.

I think that the issue is the 12 minute interval on the Battersea Power Station branch. Even from Euston, journey time to Battersea Power Station 28 minutes (of which 17 mins are the train and 11 mins the walk at either end), there are occasional routes via Vauxhall and the bus which take 10 mins longer but arrive a whole minute earlier than the next Northern Line service. There is nothing really 'wrong' with the planner, except maybe for the excessive walking times at the stations. Selecting 'Tube' only gives reasonable schedules.
