Are there enough staff though?

I’m surprised it’s coming back so soon. The novelty will wear off pretty quickly.
Might be a good time to start calling up some of the Night Tube applicants to sit their assessments.

Are there enough staff though? We still have all our Night Tubers at Bank, but I can’t speak for other stations.

Sheets went up at Leytonstone yesterday (I was rest day Thursday), we've got seven Night Tube weekends but four of those are followed by a week of five nights (Sunday - Thursday) with only three followed by rest day on Sunday.
116 week roster, 18 leave covers so Night Tube every 14 weeks

Its an extra seven Friday and Saturday nights on the full time roster, currently we have four weeks of Sunday - Thursday nights with Fridays and Saturdays still done by the few remaining part timers
Pre-Night Tube we had four weeks of 7 nights followed by a week with four rest days and three lates.

Whoops
I have been reliably informed that RMT is planning strikes on 26/27 November and subsequent Fridays/Saturdays although whether this will just for Night Tube duties (those booking on between 21:00 and 04:00) or all day I didn't find out.

RMT members are striking against their own union today. Forced an early finish to their conference.

We get Night Tube every 14 weeks and I'm told other depots are similar so if you don't want to do them it should be quite easy to get rid of them through the Mafia

In our group chat on WhatsApp it was stated that drivers will strike every Friday/Saturday evening until an agreement can be settled.
I’m not gonna lie, after the last few weeks of dead lates on Thursdays, I am concerned about Night Tube coming back, not just for customers, but staff as well.

RMT have announced strike dates, no one to book on between:-
20:30 on Sat 27/11/21 and 04:29 on Sun 28/11/21 20:30 on Fri 3/12/21 and 04:29 on Sat 4/12/21 20:30 on Sat 4/12/21 and 04:29 on Sun 5/12/21 20:30 on Fri 10/12/21 and 04:29 on Sat 11/12/21 20:30 on Sat 11/12/21 and 04:29 on Sun 12/12/21 20:30 on Fri 17/12/21 and 04:29 on Sat 18/12/21
On the Leytonstone roster there are 7 pairs of Night Tube duties in 98 weeks, once every 14 weeks.
Obviously very few drivers will be on strike but those who are will be sacrificing two days pay while the majority of their colleagues will be completely unaffected.
They're not calling a strike on Fri 26 November as its a trial operation, don't know what they've not called a strike Sat 18/Sun 19 December

Thanks. There was nothing up on the RMT London Calling website when I checked during my meal relief
Interesting that the 18 December/19 December strike includes drivers on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly which suggests that Night Tube is about to be reintroduced on those lines

I misread, the strike on Saturday 18th December is for "any duty commencing from 04:30 on 18/12/21 to 04:29 19/12/21" on the five NT Lines. How busy is the West End on the last Saturday before Christmas?
In case anyone is wondering why RMT haven't planned more strikes after Christmas the ballot was announced on 29th June, its only valid for six months and they'd need to hold another ballot. Back then only 52% of RMT TOps voted, 824 out of 1576 eligible, and only 710 voted to strike.
