Following the commissioning of CBTC signalling between Finchley Road and Aldgate running times in these areas have been revised to reflect the faster automatic train operation. In the re-signalled area the timetable resolution has changed to a ¼ minute.
Running times between Uxbridge and Rayners Lane have been revised to better reflect actual performance.
Some first and last trains have been slightly retimed in consequence.
In consequence of the new run times the off peak pattern has been recast with northbound trains re-timed and the southbound service pattern completely revised. Southbound Chiltern Railways trains have also been revised to depart 2 minutes later from Aylesbury. The new off-peak pattern uses 35 trains, 1 fewer.
Monday to Friday
The peak service between Baker Street and Aldgate is increased from 15 to 16 trains per hour (tph). When combined with the Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines this provides 28tph between 07.00 and 09.00 and between 17.00 and 18.15. The 15tph peak shoulder is also extended until 10.00 after the morning peak and 20.00 after the evening peak.
One fewer train is used for evening peak service.
