I would have said its down the southern end of the Northern line somewhere as they have the green tiles. Not sure which one, but I'll take a guess at Tooting Bec

Looks very much like Tooting Bec, top of the stairs of the Trinity Road exit. Facing ths stairs.
Looking at the picture, the SS would've been Alec.
