I'll second that. I've been at least three times and it's still worth revisiting.

And if you go there in September (normally) their depot at Monumentenhalle is open to the public. There are some great S Bahn carriages and other Berlin road and rail exhibits, as well as a few stalls selling artefacts, books and collectibles. Well worth a visit - and they run a special train and vintage buses (busses?) there and back.

Alas, I doubt it will be possible for anyone here in the UK to visit Berlin in September this year 2021 but am more hopeful for next year 2022

I managed to get to the U-Bahn museum in the former depot tower at Olympia-Stadion (U2) in the brief period last September where things were almost normal (except for mask wearing) in Germany. As well as the original (massive) illuminated diagram and panel, there are a huge number of artifacts crammed into every available space. Volunteers were running small group guided tours to help with distancing. The one things they don't have is any full cars, as they obviously wouldn't fit.

Gosh, didn't expect to find a recommendation for my Berlin holidays here - thank you!
