The History of the Bakerloo Line by Clive D.W. Feather, The Crowood Press, 160 pages, soft covers £20. This book covers the entire history of the line from various early schemes, the building, the personalities involved, subsequent development and the train services to the present and considers future proposals. Very well illustrated both in black and white and colour plus maps and diagrams. Separate chapters cover the trains and signalling with the unique Watford New Line signalling being explained. There is a rare colour photo of Standard Stock with the blue stripes at window level taken at Kenton in 1937. There is also a photo of a 1938 TS train calling at the original Carpenders Park Station. A useful addition to the book shelf as they say.

Nice, I'll add it to my books list. Eventually I'll get the updated version on the forum.

Yes, two exterior views showing Harrow No.2, an interior of Queens Park (Bakerloo) and a close up of the control screen at Willesden Junction.
