Just wondering as I have been in correspondence with someone in relation to people being given a nickname. To protect the people no real names but I will start with three Captain Chaos and Doctor Death and Teflon sounds as though they were a problem to work with anyone have any other names that were given to staff on the underground.

There was a booking clerk used to sell items to staff and he got the nickname Man in a Suitcase in which he carried his goods

I think many companies/organisations have a 'Captain Chaos'.

My understanding was that 'Doctor Death' is a well-known (train) spotter, legendary for the stepladder he brings along to get better photos. Perhaps like 'Captain Chaos', it's one of those names that every office seems to have.
I can't speak for LU, but in NR circles it's generally a good sign when you've got yourself a good, old-fashioned nickname!

I had two nicknames, initially Yoh ho ho Green Giant as was an Apprentice and we had green overalls. My next nickname which I still use today is Big Vern, following on from the VIZ comic, that name stuck with me from around 1989, and as you can see still use it.
