Recently I stumbled upon some odd statuses on the Tube map app stating that some Overground trains are cancelled at some strange times (when the line would be closed for like maybe half an hour just because of one cancelled train) so I’m curious to know why they are cancelled

Peak time extras on routes out of Liverpool Street were cancelled owing to staff shortages. Shortages were also affecting services on the North London Line further back in the year.
