that is not victoria deffo embankment for starters the platforms are inline with each other at victoria the dot matrix sign at victoria is alot further down and victoria does not have a kiosk on the plaforms as if you look on the pic in the corner of the dotmatrix sign the other sign says kiosk

Yesterday, when I saw it first, I thought Victoria, but the platform end barrier doesnt convince me. I dont think its Victoria.

And I think you'll find that the photograph was taken whilst standing at the inner home at Embankment eastbound

Victoria does have a kiosk, at least I'm almost sure it does, as I remember when the Piccadilly was suspended one evening, I had to go to Victoria from Hammersmith via the District to get the Victoria Line, and bought a drink from it.

That is definitely Embankment, there is no rail-gap in advance of Victoria westbound platform either- the rail-gap is at the east end of the station.
That is a kiosk on the eastbound platform, something Victoria eastbound does not have.

Sorry, but I can only go with what the photographer tells me, and Aspect said Victoria - this was in the first batch he sent me (January or February iirc) though so I don't still have the email. On one other occasion he did correct himself though so he could be mistaken again. He doesn't appear to be about at the moment, so I'll drop him a PM to advise him of this thread - watch this space!

Oooops My appologies to the assembled ! It most certainly is Embankment, looking east, whilst I am stopped at the inner home ! The geography is completely wrong for Victoria, if it were there the train in view would be curved to view it's off side not it's near side, the platforms would be equal length, plus a whole host of other differences ! In fact when I first saw the picture I thought it was Westminster ...then agreed it was Embankment .... however such is Chris's alterations I never realised it was one of mine ! Good job I didn't advance an answer ...and get it wrong !!!! I shall justify my error in that, at that time I sent Chris a huge number of pictures ..... <sneaks away quickly .....>
