As most users probably know, London Overground have a particular style of announcements at their stations, such as "the train now approaching..." Or "the next train to arrive at.....". The lady (Emma?) who does the announcements is heard across the Watford DC,north/west and east London lines and probably goblin.
My questions are related prior to London Overground takeover:
1. On the Watford DC, goblin and North/west London lines, what announcements were previously used? I think the standard national rail ones voiced by Anne were used on the north London line during silverlink. Particularly interested in the system used on the shared bakerloo section of the DC.
2. For the above , when did the overground style announcements come in?
3. The lea valley lines continue to use the standard Anne announcements. Why are these still being used 5 years later and the Emma style overground announcements not used?
