The tenth question of the month, and another single parter for you to puzzle over. *Click for larger version* PM's still to either robster or myself, unless Chris says otherwise.

Ray B is right I think, it's Shepherds Bush Central as you come off the escalators - it looks remarkably clean there, a lot tidier than when I last went there.

That is definitely not Shepherd's Bush Central - the tiling pattern shown in the passage is used exclusively on the 1920s Morden extension stations on the Northern Line.
Having said that, nothing rings a bell - I think this particular station is south of Oval, but that's all I've got.

Hmm.....it really does remind me of SBC, but now you mention it the tiles on the right hand side of the pic seem very 1926 Morden extension. It's interesting that the tiles in the passage are different. Have to think a bit longer on this one I think........................

When I saw this on me phone this morning, I thought Gloucester Road. I have a feeling that's wrong now I've seen it on my PC - but I'm gonna stick with it anyway ;D ;D

Wherever it is, surely it must have lifts as there is a sign saying something about a "lower machine room"

Escalators have an upper and lower machine chamber too.

This is a shot in the dark, but could it be Archway? Sorry to contradict TheOneKea, but i know for a fact that there is some of this tiling in a cupboard on the platforms at Old Street, (dont ask me how i know) and I'm pretty sure that this colour scheme is in use in the long passageway between the bakerloo and NB northern platforms at Embankment. It might be safer to say it is the London Electric Railway (LER) house style. I still reckon its Archway, looks grotty enough. Could be one of the claphams though. (one of the two with island platforms) And its not Kennington unless they have installed escalators there since the refurb

It look INCREDIBLY familiar and I feel like I walk past often, I just can't remember where i've seen it!
I think Archway could be right...

Camden Town springs to mind, as does Goodge Street...
