I believe Chris has said that he may use the same station up to twice in the same month... It's been on a few times now I think...

Me thinks we are running out of options... Well, there are only a limited number of stations to choose from, and the fact that only a smaller number have something which is not immediately recogniseable!

This is the 'West' end of the platforms from a Westbound train. We are broadly looking towards the North (West)... |

Hmmm. I was quite certain that we were looking across the northern end of the platforms from the east end of a 1992TS, as the equivalent position at the southern end of the station would have an excellent view of the signal box, station building and car park.
I didn't PM my answer because, as sure as I am, I'm not 100% sure...

The give away is the little garden to the left of the picture, which is on the London end of the Eastbound (or Epping) platforms. The station building can't be too far off the right of the picture.

This was taken from a westbound train at Loughton some months ago, but I don't recall where in the train I was sat.

Suncloud is correct, that I will sometimes use the same station up to twice in the same month (Wembley Park appeared twice last month for example). We are not running out of options - I have personally only photographed at about 90 of the 270+ stations. The limiting factor is the photographs I have - when I go to a station I typically take around at least a dozen photographs, sometimes many more. Although not all are suitable for the quiz, many are, so for example I have a large stock of photos from Baker Street, but none from any of the stations between Goldhawk Road and Westbourne Park. My stock of photos is supplemented by those people send me, but even then I don't have complete coverage as they and I can have photographed the same station. I've yet to find a station where there is not something that can be photographed for the quiz, especially when I can mask bits or do other fancy photoshopping things (Saturday's quiz is the first of three this month that have been modified in a different way to previously). |
