surprised to find today, some May 2020 dated poster maps, very few have been posted: i can't see any obvious changes (except the bottom banner)from the previous December 2019 edition.

Taplow, Burnham, Iver, Hanwell, Mill Hill East, Cockfosters and Harold Wood have all gained step free markers. Interestingly, Langley (poster and digital) and Goodmayes (poster) have been omitted despite being commissioned in March and February respectively.

The comprehensive list of changes between the December and May digital maps is rather small: Cockfosters, Mill Hill East, Taplow and Iver now strepfree to platform. Hanwell now stepfree to platform, Southall moves west in consequence Harold Wood now stepfree to platform, it and Gidea Park both move slightly closer to Romford East Ham loses a blue dagger
The text "Reg. user No. 00/0000/P" has been removed from beneath the explanation of zones. This appeared in May 2019.

Didn't the dangleway used to be three lines, not two?

Didn't the dangleway used to be three lines, not two? I think it still does, image resolution may be to blame there. I'm looking from a laptop and can just about make out over two lines.

It's three lines on the digital version, the same as it has been since the June 2012 map (it appeared as a white line with a dashed red outline on the December 2011 map when it was under construction).

Has anybody seen the May pocket maps in the wild yet? I've spotted a few on eBay, but none in stations

Has anybody seen the May pocket maps in the wild yet? I've spotted a few on eBay, but none in stations 33 sold so far apparently! Who's buying them? I suppose if you collect them obsessively and can't get to London then £2.50 incl p&p isn't so bad. The so-and-so who's selling them must be emptying stations' leaflet racks.

Oh for the days of a simple Tube map.
The index used to be easy to read and find your stations.

Picked up one in Chalfont today. They're still printed on thin paper so apologies for the image bleed-through from the reverse side: TFL_May20_Front by Howda62, on Flickr TFL_May20_Back by Howda62, on Flickr I've not spotted any changes over those mentioned above, except to note that on the pocket map Goodmayes is marked as step free. Goodmayes was already marked as step free in the December map as shown below (and East Ham also had no blue dagger): TFL_Dec19_Front by Howda62, on Flickr

I note that the pocket map doesn't show Mill Hill East or Iver as being step free either.

My bad My posting the maps in reverse chronological order wasn't overly helpful , I added the December one whilst formulating the post. I've edited the earlier post to try and make it clearer. My bad too

The text "Reg. user No. 00/0000/P" has been removed from beneath the explanation of zones. This appeared in May 2019. Anyone know the meaning of this? Or was it just a mistake? Googling just finds copies of the map.

My guess is that the format is (was?) intended for authorised re-users to indicate the license they are reusing it under (based on the Ordnance Survey using something similar). However I wouldn't have thought that TfL themselves would need that, which is why it is/was all zeros?

Googling just finds copies of the map. Many years ago virtually every diary had a Tube map inside the rear cover. London Transport used to provide the artwork free despite the costs. Many of the diary companies (and other users such as souvenir producers) continued to use the same artwork for many years even when significant changes to the network had happened. It was then decided to charge for the artwork with an annual licence to cover costs and make a reasonable profit. The artwork identified the registered user and the year. This made it possible to check items to ensure the appropriate fees had been paid. It should not appear on "company" maps.

The spacing of Hanwell and Southall really is dreadful. Once you see it you can't unsee it.
