That’s the link between Hackney Central and Hackney Downs I thought so too. Inset 1: Wimbledon station EDIT - on closer inspection, probably not. Although the general design is very similar to Southern Railway Art Deco, the detailing is more Arabic.

First off the mark with a PM My guess for the main image in today's quiz is: The bridge/walkway linking Hackney Downs and Hackney Central. !!These locations were chosen by Deep Level who did most of the work preparing them as 15 March is his birthday!! Main image: Walkway from Hackney Central to Hackney Downs [ Deep Level ] (click for a larger version) Inset 1: Entrance to Tangerville Station, Tangier, Morocco [ Deep Level ] (click for a larger version) That just leaves inset 2 to find.

It's not Portmeirion, as this version will probably make clear: (click for a larger version)

Well it's obviously an airport runway and the runway has water at least on one side - So how about Gibraltar?

According to Wiki, the date 14 March is relevant: The first treaty signed at Utrecht was the truce between France and Portugal on 7 November, followed by the truce between France and Savoy on 14 March 1714. That same day, Spain, Great Britain, France and the Empire agreed to the evacuation of Catalonia and an armistice in Italy. Essentially the various Treaties of Utrecht signed away Gibraltar to the UK and bought to an end the Wars of the Spanish Succession.
