These are the stairs that passengers are so keen to use to cross from a train terminating in platform 4 to platform 2 to continue their journey that they will happily queue up for 10 minutes to walk up in single file (they are really narrow), no matter how many announcements you make about the walkway AT THE FRONT OF THE TRAIN.

It surprises me that such a narrow staircase is still in passenger use when an alternative route is available...

That is the only way from platform 4 up to the Ticket Hall The walkway only goes to platforms 2 and 3 and (random factoid) must be closed if any train, other than a C or D stock goes into platform 3
