Did send a PM yesterday, but appears not to have sent.
try again
Location A - Piccadilly Line between Hounslow East and Osterley - Footpath from Spring Grove Road to Palmertson Road
Location B - Northern Line between Finchley Central and West Finchley - Nether Street Overbridge looking North.
Location C - Central Line between Northolt and Greenford - view looking East from Mandeville Road
Inset C - Three Mills Island - Bow Creek/River Lea
Location D - Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines - Between Wembley Park and Neasden - Flyunder to/from Neasden Depot as seen from SB Jubilee line Train
Inset D - View taken from Cheddar Gorge (possibly), Somerset looking down onto Village of Cheddar with St Andrews Church in view.
Insets A & B have already been answered.
The Link is that Hounslow East, Finchley Central and Wembley Park are in Zone 4, Northolt is the odd one out as is in Zone 5 so C is the odd one out.

It wasn’t so much the early start but the late night Monday that caught up with me today 😊
We’re still looking for the link and the odd one out. It’s not to do with zones.

Northolt, Wembley Park, and Finchley Central are reversing points with a siding Hounslow East is not a reversing point so is the odd one out.

It's not about the train services

Is it possibly about Junctions as Wembley Park/Neasden Junction between Lines and Depot, Finchley Central and West Finchley, Junction to Mill Hill Branch, Hounslow East/Osterley former junction to Hounslow Town So odd one out would be Northolt/Greenford as no Junctions between these stations.

The key is the stations these locations are between, nothing about junctions or anything else between them. Greenford-Northolt is the odd one out, but not for that reason.

The link is 'Central' to this, Finchley Central, West Finchley and East Finchley Wembley Park, Wembley Central and North Wembley Hounslow East, Hounslow Central and Hounslow West.
Northolt or Greenford don't have a 'Central' station but are on the Central line.

Good find, but unfortunately it's not related to names.

Is the link to do with former station names: Neasden was formerly Neasden & Kingsbury Osterley was formerly Osterley & Spring Grove Finchley Central was formerly Finchley & Hendon

Is location D (between Neasden & Wembly Park) the odd one out? Neither of two stations it is between have a compass direction in their name while the other three do - WEST Finchley; NORTHolt; Hounslow EAST.

Once again this has absolutely nothing to do with station names. They are irrelevant.
One of the adjacent stations has a physical characteristic the other does not.

If West Finchley and Finchley Central was the odd one out it would be because both of those stations are shown as accessible on the Underground Map, while of the other pairs, only one of the adjacent stations is accessible (Greenford, Wembley Park and Hounslow East)

I guess I missed Finchley Central being step-free somehow.
