I like a broad selection of music, so would struggle to name only one as a favourite.
However, I have a few constant favourites...
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Smoky Robinson and the Miracles - Tracks Of My Tears
Wendy Carlos - March From A Clockwork Orange
And many more, depending on my mood.

Me, I like a rather wide selection... so can't begin to even think what my favourite tunes are...
Depends also how I feel personally, how the day went...

like where you are coming from signalfailure at the moment i am revisiting my youth and listening to - Antisect , Hellbastard , Axegrinder and the mighty Discharge - type them into youtube - you might like them. while you are at it do a search for 'islington squatters' on you tube too , as you will catch a peak at a current Metline drivers previous life. I'm not gonna say which one is me though.......

Well "Band" can apply to an Orchestra!
So in that case, Les Arts Florissants [The Flourishing Arts] Cantus Colln, and The Gabrieli Consort and players.
More modern stuff...........80/90s electronic stuff, Pet shop boys, Depeche Mode etc.

My partner has just found a video on YouTube of All I want for Christmas is a Ducla Prague away kit. Mind you they're still going strong have you heard some of his more recent stuff? I particularly like 24 Hour Garage people from a few years ago, makes me chuckle every time. Or from the most recent album, Joy Division Oven Gloves ;D

I can't really pick one favourite, but here's a few:
REM - especially What's the frequency Kenneth? / So Fast So Numb / Electrolite
Razorlight - particularly Vice / I can't stop
The Editors - Smokers outside the hospital door.
EDIT; Forgot to mention The Vibrators - Baby Baby (don't like most of the rest of their stuff, but this one track really gets me somehow).

I usually hear something and like it, but here are a few that have been on my playlist for quite a while: Gorillaz (Most notably Demon Days. Had it since it was out, and bought it 3 times ) System of a Down Maroon 5 Lots of dance/electronic (Ministry of Sounds type stuff)
