well its a sub surface location if that helps and i would say thats a draw up signal not a repeater with the 3 aspects i'll go for the met line somewhere but dont know a exact location

There must be a rail greaser very close by; look at the l/h running rail. The retaining wall looks like those found on the original Met railway lines.

I agree. The signal is a multi-SPAD one, but I can't remember the number.

Edgware Road or South Ken (District/Circ). But it does look very Met, as aetearlscourt suggests.
(Thinks: is Aldgate actually out in the open, like this photo is? Can't remember!)
