I think this is Loughton sidings looking towards the exit route from a stabled train.

It's not a set of sidings I recognise, which leads me to suspect that it's Upminster Depot, looking towards Upminster.

That's Upminster depot. Is that a control tower in t'background? There are obviously speakers ... Yep, that's Upminster's control tower - and the speakers are used if the tower cannot communicate with a particular train by radio.
