Due to disruption Fast Amersham ran from Harrow on the Hill Platform 5 about 1730 was then turned to fast Ricky mid journey and then ran in passenger service from Rickmansworth Northbound Platform to Watford round the North curve.

If the train was departing from platform 5 at Harrow the only route to towards Amersham would be via the siding and platform 4. Did you mean platform 2, the one the Marylebone train usually runs from?

I’ve seen this before in times of disruption advertised as a fast Watford service with reversal at Rickmansworth (probably not faster!).
I believe there is still a wrong road reversal from Harrow plat 2 empty to Rickmansworth daily. Used to be a passenger service many years ago.

Correct, sometime around 21.30
This move is done in service sometimes during engineering works.
