Its a pity that additional Mk1 or even some Mk2 carriages could not be added to this train, as per Steam In The Met 2000.

Different organisations and people too, to some extent. LT did have extra coaching stock to hand, which has been sold on in the years since. Despite it being £84 a pop it will still surely be rammed! Great journey no doubt, wish I could go.

I will not be on the train but hope to see it somewhere - possibly at Rickmansworth on its way north and then later in the day on the Watford branch. I wonder if there will be sufficient time to see it pass through Croxley station on its way to Watford and then to walk to where the line passes over the Grand Union Canal so that the train can be seen there too?

I understand that the class 33 and the 4TC have arrived at West Ruislip depot this evening.
Is it known what class 20 locos are going to be on these trips?

Its a pity that additional Mk1 or even some Mk2 carriages could not be added to this train, as per Steam In The Met 2000. 2 class 20's plus a 4TC plus a Class 33 is only 4 meters (approx) shorter in length than a S8 unit

Is it known what class 20 locos are going to be on these trips? 20007 (BR Green) and in 20142 (LT Maroon) 'Sir John Betchman' are expected to make the runs.
