If that is a Circle being diverted to the H & C (back to depot?) what do the train describers say please?

Either that or it has been reformed at Edgware road into a Cricle. I'd also go with Temple. Photo was taken a while ago as the C stock still has incandescent tail lights.

If that is a Circle being diverted to the H & C (back to depot?) what do the train describers say please? It would say Outer Rail Circle. The signalman at Gloucester Road would just give the number to Edgware Road to deal with, or change to TD to a "Special" or something not used all the time. This makes it easier to spot.

Answer:
Well done, this is indeed Temple, and the train was reformed at Edgware Road, so the "rear blind and set number are misleading" according to Aspect whose photograph this is.
