Does anyone have any members of using the Mark 1 DMUs and EMUs on a daily basis?

Memories, I think you mean!
Yes, they were omnipresent when I started commuting into Holborn Viaduct in 1981, and the last didn't disappear from SWT until a quarter of a century later. But they were never operated by LU, and they were long gone before TfL took over any of the lines they did work on, so I'm not sure this is the right forum for such a discussion.

For the avoidance of doubt and to aid those considering starting future threads, at the top of the page it says "District Dave's London Underground Forum" which is a reflection of our primary discussions. There have been occasions when our discussions have drifted away from the railways that are controlled by TfL and the moderator team ask members to return to the topic in hand.
The 'blurb' for our General board contains the following statement as to what should be discussed there: "...international metro matters and UK National rail matters which have a direct impact on LUL." If members keep themselves to this it will mean the stress levels of the moderator team remain low - they're only human after all!
