I think this is the NR traction current warning plate at Acton Lane Junction on the Richmond branch, seen from a westbound train.

Can't be. The supply changeover is on Putney Bridge, just beyond the Limit of Shunt for the emergency crossover behind the bay platform buffers in the station.
I'm now certain that this was taken at Acton Lane Junction.

I'd go with Tok's suggestion - the ones on the Wimbo branch are on the bridge @ Putney Bridge.
Question to the photographer when the quiz is completed - can I use the image on my website (with a credit to you of course)? The version I have isn't particularly clear - whereas I suspect this one is.

Seems possible it's the Richmond road, and I know of the area in question. If not, might it be a 'count-down' board? If so, is it likely the Wimbo road EB?

Would that be on the exit road from the depot then, onto the Down line?

Actually, it isn't a direct exit - the Ruislip 'back road' connects to a down side headshunt with a facing connection from the down main.

Answer:
Well done Tom, this is on the "back road" of West Ruislip depot, photographed from the road bridge.
Colin, I know this isn't the sign you were thinking of but if you want it you are more than welcome to use it on your site. The same goes for anyone else wanting to use any of the photos from the quiz that I've taken, although I like a note so I know which photos people are using.
For photographs taken by others just ask in the thread or by PM. Where the photographer doesn't want crediting, send me an email or PM and I'll pass the request on.
