According to Central Line News there have been a number complaints from residents in the Hainault - Grange Hill area about train whistles so Chris Taggart has reminded us "that you must sound the train whistle at whistle boards only between 07:00 and 19:00".
The problem is there aren't any whistle boards in the Hainault - Grange Hill area, the only whistles are from trains moving in, out and around Hainault depot where we have to whistle at all times.
The only whistle boards on the Central Line are East Acton - North Acton WB before the curve under the bridges and in both directions before North Acton junction. There used to be one East Acton - White City EB as it went under the bridge carrying the WB line but that was withdrawn. There also used to be one Debden - Loughton WB just before the curve to Loughton station but the locals kept stealing it.

It was at the Loughton end, next to the allotments. Saying that, maybe one of the allotment workers was displeased with their funny looking whistle grown vegetables 😂🤣 Vegetables need sleep too, and by that I mean the allotment workers 😂

Vegetables need sleep too, and by that I mean the allotment workers 😂 Yup, they must be brain dead; out there in the fresh air getting free food and good exercise, when they could be at home sitting in front of daytime TV.
