Not the most factual thread on this forum I know but I personally find Wapping Station at night, one of the most appealing on the whole system...
Which is funny, really, because right above the station entrance, in great big, scary, bright orange letters, is a name that looks really rather like

Hahaha. I know what you mean. It's years since I've been there: the last time was when I walked through the tunnel to Rotherhithe before the conversion to the Overground was complete. I wasn't sure about the design of the stations and the orange lettering then but it's stood the test of time pretty well. Hackney Wick, the rebuilt version, which continues the theme of big orange lettering is a masterpiece (though I did see it on a sunny day in summer).
