It's taken City Hall half a week to actually release the information. Past practice was that it was issued on the day of the announcement. Mayoral Direction on faresFares appendicesNo huge surprises in the package. - Most TfL fares are frozen - National Rail fares increase by 10p or 20p - Travelcard prices and daily / weekly caps rise by an average of 3.1% (none exceed 3.2%) - Some fares on London Overground and TfL Rail services DO increase. This tends to be those at the extremities of the network such as Shenfield and Cheshunt because TfL have to avoid "fare splitting" arising so a fares taper has to be maintained. The LO only fare from Zone 3 to Liv St mainline also increases to match the tube fare. Will be capped from now on.
